The Izard County Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 8th Annual Sod Buster Golf Tournament on October 11th at the Golf Course on Turkey Mountain in Horseshoe Bend, and we need your help to make this fundraiser a success. Considering the success of last year’s tournament, the board members have decided that this year we would do the tournament in October again when there's no other local tournaments going on. Not to mention, it won’t be blistering hot!
The Sod Buster Golf Tournament is the Chamber’s exclusive fundraising event which draws golfers from all over the region to the scenic venue and gives our community more opportunity to showcase what a beautiful course we have in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.
This tournament will be a 3 person scramble with an entry fee of $150 per team. Coffee and donuts will be available beginning at 8 am, and the tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 9 am. Golf carts are not included in the entry fee but will be available. We hope to have no fewer than thirty teams participate in our one-day tournament, so this is a great opportunity for you to show community support through participating in a sponsorship.
